A 3-Day Artificial Intelligence (AI) Workshop is currently underway at the UNU Main Campus, bringing together academic staff for an engaging and practical learning experience on how AI can transform teaching, research, academic writing, and postgraduate supervision.
The workshop covers key areas including:
Types and fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence
Importance and uses of AI in higher education
AI applications in teaching and learning
AI tools for academic research and writing
AI-assisted postgraduate supervision
Responsible and effective use of AI in academia
The initiative has been spearheaded by the Top Administration of Upper Nile University, Headed By UNU-VC Prof. Mamour Choul Tutuk (PhD) organized and hosted by Upper Nile University Academic Staff Association (UNUASA), Headed By Dr. Luciano Pauolo and conducted by Anthos, a private technology and training company, Headed by Eng. Yai Nyok.
The goal is simple: to equip UNU academic staff with practical knowledge and skills to responsibly harness AI and enhance the quality, efficiency, and impact of their academic work.
