
The Bachelor of Education (Arabic Language and Geography) program is designed to prepare professionally qualified teachers with strong academic foundations in Arabic language studies and Geography, supported by sound pedagogical training. The Bachelor of Education (Arabic Language and Geography) is a four-year undergraduate degree program, with an optional fifth-year Honours degree awarded by merit. The program is structured progressively, beginning with foundational courses in Arabic language studies, physical and human geography, psychology, and education, and advancing to specialized subject courses, research methods, and professional teaching practice.
Students study core areas of Arabic grammar, morphology, rhetoric, linguistics, and literature, alongside physical, human, economic, and regional geography. These are supported by essential education courses such as philosophy of education, educational psychology, curriculum development, educational technology, assessment and evaluation, and educational administration.
A key component of the program is Teaching Practice, which provides supervised classroom experience and allows students to apply theoretical knowledge in real educational environments. Graduates are prepared for teaching careers, curriculum development, educational administration, and further academic studies.
