Upper Nile University opened direct and private intake for diploma programmes at Malakal Campus through the Center for Human Resources Development, creating a local route into career-focused higher education.
The intake was scheduled from 26 January to 10 February 2026, with applications accepted between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM at the Admission Office on the main campus in Malakal town.

The programmes are intended for school leavers, working professionals and other learners seeking practical skills without relocating from the region. By offering study in Malakal, UNU aims to strengthen access while supporting personal advancement and local institutional capacity.
